Frog & Firkin has been owned by the same two local Tucsonans since 2001! Garrett & Jody Raetzman took over this establishment to provide Tucson with a “home away from home!” Located right outside the University Main Gate they wanted to bring two worlds together of University students, faculty, and Staff along with all of Tucson!!
Frog is constantly bringing new beers to the mouths of Tucson!! With over 30 beers on draft with approximately 8 rotating handles and over 150 domestic, micro-brew, and import bottles!! With an emphasis on local, there are always Arizona Brews on tap or in the bottle! The food is also regularly evolving along with keeping all the Frog favorites that keep customers coming back to relive their college days, first dates, or favorite game day!! Frog is known for our thick deep crust pizza and never sacrificing cost by bringing our customers the freshest of ingredients!! The menu doesn’t stop there!! With an newly upgraded kitchen, Frog now satisfies guests by offering entrees such as Cedar Plank Salmon, New York Strip, Bison Burgers and more!!! Looking for a quick bite or a relaxing dinner out before a show, The Frog has it all!!
Frog is the perfect setting for any game day with TV’s within in eyesight of every table inside and out!! As hands on owners The Raetzman’s are constantly putting into the Frog to keep it current and fun for all of the local and visiting clientele. As of the fall 2017 the Frog had a much needed upgrade by adding an additional 1900sqft so all of Tucson can host their next party, happy hour, retirement party and more in their own private room!!!
Frog & Firkin has a #eatlocal #supportlocal mentality!! The majority of our ingredients, menu items etc are right here from Tucson!! It is also important for Frog to give back right here in Tucson…. our main “giveback” event takes place every April where Frog has helped raise over 60K since 9/11 to help The Fallen Firefighters Fund of Tucson!! You will also see Frog hosting or supporting many Tucson Youth Sports events!! Tucson has been good to The Frog and Frog will continue to give back to Tucson!!!
